Dear Visitors,   To further enhance the visiting experience, the main building of Shaanxi History Museum will undergo equipment renewal and renovation from October 19, 2025, to mid-February 2026. Please note the following updates regarding your visit:   Shaanxi History Museum (Main Building) (No. 91 Xiaozhai Donglu, Xi’an, Shaanxi, P. R. China)  

1. During the renovation, some exhibition halls will be temporarily closed. Specifically:  

- The feature exhibition "Ancient Civilization of Shaanxi" will be closed from October 19 to mid-December 2025. Its highlights will be showcased in the exhibition "Splendors of Shaanxi: Civilization of the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang Dynasties" in Halls 6 and 7.  

- The special exhibition "Treasures of the Grand Tang Dynasty – Unearthed Objects from the Hejiacun Hoard" will be closed from mid-December 2025 to mid-January 2026.  

2. The daily ticket quota will be dynamically adjusted between 4,000 and 6,000 based on the availability of exhibition halls.  

3. The northern section of the West Parking Lot will be temporarily closed, significantly reducing available parking spaces. Visitors are encouraged to use green transportation options.  

4. From November 15, 2025, to March 14, 2026, opening hours will be 9:00–17:30 (last admission at 16:30). The museum will  close on Mondays (except national statutory holidays).  

Shaanxi History Museum (QinHan Gallery)(East Lanchi 3-Lu, Xixian New Area, Shaanxi, China)  

1. Starting October 19, 2025, visitors may enter directly with their ID cards without prior reservation.  

2. From November 15, 2025, to March 14, 2026, opening hours will be 9:00–17:30 (last admission at 16:30). The museum will close on Tuesdays (except national statutory holidays).
