The 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was a momentous occasion celebrated on July 1st, 2021. It marks a century of remarkable achievements and historical significance in China’s development.
The exhibition displays more than 650 pictures and nearly 350 objects with an area of 2,200 square meters and an exhibition line of 590 meters. It is divided into four sections: “Initiating the Career”, “Laying a Foundation”, “Historical Turning”, and “Advancing into a New Era”.
“Initiating the Career” includes three sub-units: “Dawn in Shaanxi”, “Glory of Yan’an”, and “Liberation of Shaanxi”, displaying the history from the founding of the CPC in 1921 to the Land Revolution in Shaanxi, the establishment of the Red Army and the northwest revolutionary base, the war of resistance against Japanese aggression and national independence under the leadership of the CPC. “Laying a Foundation” also includes three sub-units: “Establishing the Political Regime”, “Restoring the Economy”, and “Improving People’s Livelihoods”, showcasing the establishment and consolidation of the people’s political regime and the development of the economy and the living conditions of the people after liberation. “Historical Turn” includes “Reform and Opening-up”, “Establishment of a Socialist Market Economy System”, and “Comprehensive Economic and Social Progress”, demonstrating rapid development in various fields such as economy, politics, culture, and society in Shaanxi after the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the CPC. “Advancing into a New Era”, includes eight sub-units, showcasing the satisfactory situation and achievements of economic and social development that have been made in Shaanxi since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, following the implementation of the principles from President Xi Jinping’s two important speeches during his visits to Shaanxi.
The exhibition is sponsored by the Publicity Department and the CPC History Research Office of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee, and the Shaanxi Cultural Heritage Administration, and co-organized by Shaanxi Pictorial Press, International Exhibition Co., Ltd. of Shaanxi Daily Media Group, as an important section of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and the in-depth study of party history in Shaanxi Province.
