This celadon pot is a remarkable masterpiece of Yaozhou-kiln porcelain, renowned for its ingenuity in design. The water inlet is located at the bottom center and designed as a plum blossom, with the spout outlet sculpted in the shape of a mother lion breastfeeding her baby. The lid and belly are ornately decorated with carved peony flowers. The loop handle simulates a crouching phoenix, and the spherical pot body bears the patterns of peony and curly twigs. Its unique design and beautiful celadon glaze demonstrate an innovative combination of practicality and artistry.
