In order to comprehensively enhance the visitor experience and the level of museum facilities, Shaanxi History Museum will carry out a comprehensive equipment renovation from October 19, 2025 to mid February 2026. During this period, the exhibition hall showcasing "Shaanxi Ancient Civilization" will be temporarily closed from October 19, 2025 to mid December. In order to meet the audience's demand for viewing the exhibition, our museum specially launched the "Shaanxi Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang Civilization Exhibition" in Hall 6 and Hall 7, which concentrated the essence of the basic display and officially opened to the public on October 21, 2025. Faced with the challenges of tight schedule and heavy tasks brought by the equipment update project construction, all departments in the museum have demonstrated a high sense of responsibility and excellent collaborative spirit. The Collection Preservation Department, Exhibition Department, and Protection and Restoration Department worked together to efficiently complete the selection, removal, maintenance, and exhibition of cultural relics in the new exhibition hall; The Logistics Support Department and the Security Department provided full support throughout the construction and exhibition period, ensuring the orderly and safe progress of all work; The Ministry of Social Education and the Ministry of Public Service have actively responded and timely adjusted and optimized supporting measures such as explanation reception and public services to ensure that visitors have a high-quality exhibition experience. With the seamless integration and joint efforts of multiple departments, the originally heavy construction and exhibition tasks of the temporary exhibition hall were successfully completed within a limited time, demonstrating the professionalism and execution ability of our museum's work team. Although the "Three Qin Dynasty's Huazhang Shines in Four Directions - Shaanxi Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang Civilization Exhibition" is a carefully selected selection, it can be regarded as a gathering. The exhibition focuses on the splendid civilizations of the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang dynasties in Shaanxi. More than 350 representative precious cultural relics have been selected from the collection, covering a wide range of historical periods and categories. Among them, exquisite cultural relics such as Duoyou Ding and Sancai Zaile Camel Terracotta Warriors will all be showcased, outlining the historical style and civilization height of Shaanxi region, presenting a civilization feast that spans thousands of years and connects ancient and modern times to the audience, vividly showcasing the profound historical heritage of the Three Qin Dynasty and the splendid chapter of Chinese civilization's long history.
